Management Staff

Pamela-Executive Director

 Pamela has been at the Humane Society of Scott County for 35 years.  After graduating from Missouri State University with a degree in Animal Behavior Science, she spent time as a trainer at a national level before finding her home in the shelter world.  Pam has been Director for 20 years in 2020 and has seen us through multiple building upgrades, and intake numbers over 7,000 per year.  

Kathleen-Shelter Manager

 All the way from Orange County, CA, Kathleen brings 32 years of experience to our shelter.  She is well versed in disease management and control, animal welfare law and animal behavior, she is in charge of shelter operations on a day to day level.  

Ryan Wille-Development & Marketing

 Ryan has been in non-profit fundraising and marketing for 5 years and brings a passion for helping both animals and people to the shelter.  After studying at Bradley University, he served in various sales/operations roles before finding himself at home working in the nonprofit sector.  Ryan is responsible for all fundraising activities and advertising at the shelter.  

Charlotte-Accounts Supervisor

 Charlotte has been with the shelter for 5 years, and has a wide variety of experience in accounting.  She is currently working on her Master's Degree and has a cat at home named Precious (HSSC Alumni). In her spare time, she collects anything Mickey related.   

Amanda-Senior Health Technician

Amanda is a California native and an air force veteran.  What she enjoys most about working with pets in need is the chance to help the ones who need it most.  At home, she has 2 cats and enjoys cosplay in her free time.  

Angie-Front Office Manager

Angie has worked in various roles at the shelter over the course of the last 28 years.  Her experience in animal well-being and front office work pair well as she performs adoptions and helps match potential adopters with their new pets.  She is sometimes referred to as "the small dog whisperer" because of her love for dogs under 15 lbs who are often the most scared at the shelter.

Amber-Education & Volunteer Coordinator

 Amber is a Quad City native that joined the shelter staff in 2019.  She has 4 dogs at home, and enjoys acting and singing.  Her experience at Genesis Health Systems and Von Maur corporate have served her well in her new role.  In her free time, she can be found taking in a show at Circa 21.
